Isles missing the playoffs again has gotten real old. I cannot even watch the NHL playoffs if the Isles are not involved.

Oh I can, gotten used to not having "my" team in the playoffs. Can't be a real hockey fan and only watch this team due to the fact that Islanders hockey hasn't been real hockey for a real long time. I can relate though, had a hard time watching them last year but this year I will! (frank)'em!

OK, I'll admit to reading the blog. I'm glad you did'nt break the story about Lafontaine, you would've spun it into some love Wangfest.

We should put that pic on a postcard and print eight thousand of them and mail them to Wang. Thats one for every opposing teams fan thats at every Islander home game, unless its an Isles ranger game. Then it would be eleven thousand

Actually if we organized to have 10000 people simultaneously send Wang an email and letter the same day, that would make him go crazy,

That's not a bad idea

Trade Okposo and the #2 for Dustin Brown...Ulmstrom can take his spot on the 3rd line...

By the "#2" you mean a second rounder, correct? If so, I'd sign up for that as well. I like Brown as a player. He'd be a great addition both on the score sheet and in the locker room.

Another succesful season by Wang and Snow standars. Hell, we suck but the team sure is exciting. Make sure you are here next season - don't worry about the $3K you wasted on Season Tickets, you can watch Nino grow.

i hope when he says "#2" that he thinks the isles will be getting the 2nd pick in the draft because the idea of KO and a 2nd round pick for dustin brown is the most unrealistic trade proposal ever

I would never move the #2 overall pick in the draft for Dustin Brown. Too much to give up for him. I didn't think the KO = 2nd rounder for Brown was necessarily a good deal for the Kings, I just said I'd do it as an Isles fan.

Brown would be okposo a mid first rounder(15-20) and a 3rd or 2nd

Brown isn't doing bad, Hes great defensively and the kings don't really wanna give him up. There's a difference between being shopped and being completely expendable

Why would LA do this? Okposo is a serious downgrade from Brown and the 2nd round pick doesn't even it out.

To get a Brown it would be more like Okposo and Nino for Brown and a 2nd or something along those lines imo.

LA was interested in Okposo at the trade deadline...I would definitely do Okposo and Nino for Brown and maybe one of their defensemen...The Islanders will have to give up one of their so called "core guys" like Grabner or Okposo to get an NHL established player...also they have a good player in the minor David Ulmstrom to take either Okposo or Grabner's spot on Neilsen's lne. It's going to be very hard for the Islanders to get a decent free agent to come to LI because all their negative press they have been getting due to their owner and arena situation so trades like I suggested will have to be how they can jumpstart their rebuilding process.

LEts put it this way no one on this team should not be untradeable except for Tavares. Everyone can go for all I care. Start fresh and new since this team Wang and the puppeteers put together are just not working
